Rentbird respects the privacy of the individuals whose personal data it processes and guarantees its protection. This data is, of course, treated and secured with the utmost care. In doing so, Rentbird complies with applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the GDPR Implementation Act. Rentbird will not sell your personal data to third parties.
This privacy statement only applies to the processing of personal data of natural persons. Non-natural persons, including legal entities, do not have personal data as referred to in this privacy statement and therefore cannot derive any rights from it. When the word ‘person’ or ‘persons’ is used in this privacy statement, it refers exclusively to a natural person or natural persons.

Right of access
You may request Rentbird to access your personal data. You may also request Rentbird to provide you with the information contained in this privacy statement. Upon receipt of your request, Rentbird will provide you with a copy of your personal data. If you request additional copies, Rentbird may charge you a reasonable fee based on administrative costs.
Right to rectification
You may request Rentbird to rectify your incorrect personal data without delay. For example, you can complete your incomplete personal data with an additional statement. The purposes, as set out in this privacy statement, will be taken into account in this regard.
Right to erasure
You may request Rentbird to erase your personal data without undue delay. In addition, Rentbird is obliged to erase your personal data without undue delay in cases such as when you withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data and there is no other legal basis for processing, or when your personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
Right to restriction
You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data. In that case, your personal data may no longer be processed (temporarily). If the processing of your personal data is restricted, Rentbird may only store your personal data. Rentbird will notify you before the restriction is lifted.

You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, so that you can provide it to another controller yourself. If technically possible, you also have the right to have your personal data sent directly from Rentbird to another controller.
Right to object
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time. Once you have objected, your personal data will no longer be used, unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing of your personal data.

However, withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data based on your consent prior to its withdrawal.
Submitting a complaint
The Dutch Data Protection Authority handles complaints about compliance with the legal requirements for the protection of personal data. You have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Rentbird may change this privacy statement. This may be necessary, for example, because of changes in legislation and/or regulations, but also when there are changes in the use of personal data for other reasons.
